ગાંધીનગર, 6 ડિસેમ્બર: ગુરુવારે ગાંધીનગરમાં 2023-24 માટે ગુજરાત સ્ટેટ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂશનલ રેન્કિંગ ફ્રેમવર્ક (GSIRF) રેન્કિંગનું અનાવરણ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. રાજ્યના ઉચ્ચ અને ટેકનિકલ શિક્ષણ મંત્રી રૂષિકેશ પટેલે વરિષ્ઠ અધિકારીઓ સાથે આ કાર્યક્રમ દરમિયાન ટોચની 16 સંસ્થાઓનું સન્માન કર્યું હતું.
કુલ 565 શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થાઓએ રેન્કિંગમાં ભાગ લીધો હતો, જેનો હેતુ તેમને નેશનલ ઈન્સ્ટિટ્યુશનલ રેન્કિંગ ફ્રેમવર્ક (NIRF) માટે તૈયાર કરવાનો છે. ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી, પંડિત દીનદયાળ એનર્જી યુનિવર્સિટી (PDEU), નિરમા યુનિવર્સિટી અને સેપ્ટ યુનિવર્સિટીએ ફાઇવ-સ્ટાર પ્લસ રેટિંગ મેળવ્યા છે, જ્યારે 12 યુનિવર્સિટીઓએ ફાઇવ-સ્ટાર રેટિંગ પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું છે.
નોલેજ કન્સોર્ટિયમ ઓફ ગુજરાત (KCG) અને ઈન્ડિયન સેન્ટર ફોર એકેડેમિક રેન્કિંગ્સ એન્ડ એક્સેલન્સ (ICARE) એ મૂલ્યાંકન કર્યું હતું. વિશિષ્ટ કેટેગરીમાં, IIPH-G એ ટોચનો સંશોધન રેન્ક મેળવ્યો, GMERS કૉલેજ વડોદરા મેડિકલ કેટેગરીમાં અગ્રેસર, અને LD કૉલેજ ઑફ એન્જિનિયરિંગે એન્જિનિયરિંગમાં ઉત્કૃષ્ટ દેખાવ કર્યો. કોલેજોમાં પી.ડી.પટેલ ઈન્સ્ટીટ્યુટ ઓફ એપ્લાઈડ સાયન્સે સર્વોચ્ચ ક્રમ મેળવ્યો હતો.
